In these harsh economic times the concept of "not having enough" can invade our thoughts allowing daunting feelings to settle in. These emotions do not serve our journey or our life's work. What some of us fail to realize is that these thoughts attract like sentiments and circumstances with the potential to send us into a downward spiral.When push comes to shove we must learn to prevail over self-limiting mind sets and tap into the infinite abundance of the universe available to us at all times. The most straightforward way of doing this is by simply taking a look around you. No matter where you are or what you're doing there are things in your life that you can be thankful for, even the simplest of things count. By shifting our focus on things that make us grateful we break the thought restraints of "not enough."
For example a child is taken out for ice-cream by his/her parents, upon receiving gratitude and witnessing the joy brought to their child the parents are more likely to go out for ice cream again. However, if the child shows that he/she is ungrateful the parents are less inclined to bring the child for ice cream again in the near future. You see the Universe works the same way, by appreciating what we already have we open up our minds to the immense potential to receive more.
